Mark Zuckerberg is the guy who later designed Facebook... (Although some other students later claimed he took some of their ideas, and sued).
Although The Facebook had not been created yet, this 2003 article in the Harvard Crimson notes some of the same issues we are talking about now, like privacy, hurt feelings, and something a young person posted online (ostensibly) going beyond the audience he originally intended for it.
